Colleges are now beginning to send a number of their committed players who fail to meet academic standards to post-graduate institutions known as prep schools. There are a number of prep schools around the country including annual powerhouse programs such as Hargrave Military Academy, Fork Union Military Academy. This year also marks the debut of Harmony Community School in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Prep School Top 50

Graig Cooper

Milford Academy boasts a backfield that features the nations top two post graduates in LeSean McCoy and Graig Cooper. These two could contend with any of the countries top backfields and both have issued verbal pledges to the Miami Hurricanes.

Coop is unreal right now, Milford Academy head coach Bill Chaplick told Scout.com. Coop is averaging close to 15-yards a carry. McCoy is finally coming around after rehabbing an injury and missing camp. These two I feel are the best in the country and if not I want to see who is.

LeSean McCoy

For years, Robert Pruntys Hargrave team has been the measuring stick for prep football. This year is no different as the Tigers have a number of talented athletes dotting the roster led by Brent Vinson and Bruce Campbell. Vinson is a two-way standout for Hargrave, while Campbell anchors a very talented offensive line.

David Pools Harmony Hurricanes boast a talented squad led by defensive back Anthony Smith and Louisville pledge Josh Chichester.

This is our first year of prep football and I think people are finding out quickly that we are serious about what we are doing here at Harmony. Pool told Scout.com.
