FRANKLIN (REYN) WILLIS



SPECIAL TEAMS COORDINATOR
WIDE RECEIVERS COACH

     Reyn Willis is in his first season at Milford Academy as wide receivers coach and passing game coordinator. Willis is also assisting Coach Hazelwood with Special Teams. Willis comes to Milford from East Carolina University from which he graduated and concluded his playing career in January of 2010.

     While playing for the Pirates in 2008, Reyn contributed to all phases of Special Teams play and started the final five games of the season including a victory in the 2008 C-USA championship game versus Tulsa and the Autozone Liberty Bowl against Kentucky. In 2009, Willis started all 14 contests including the C-USA championship game versus nationally ranked Houston as well as the Liberty Bowl against Arkansas. At the end of the season, Coach was awarded the Victor's Club Award for outstanding contributions to the offensive side of the ball. Prior to East Carolina, Reyn played two seasons at SEC member school, Alabama.

     Bowl Games as a player: 2006 Cotton; 2006 Independence; 2009 Liberty Bowl; 2010 Liberty Bowl.
